Regular maintenance of air coolers is essential for ensuring optimal cooling efficiency, extending service life, and maintaining stable operation. Below are detailed post-purchase maintenance points.

1. Regular Cleaning of Key Components

Water Tank and Water Pump:

(1) Drain residual water after each use.

(2) Rinse the tank with clean water to prevent limescale and bacterial growth.

(3) Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.

(4) Inspect the pump inlet monthly for debris blockages and promptly clean the pump filter screen.

Cooling Wet Curtain: Remove the pad every 1-2 weeks and rinse with water below 30°C (to prevent structural damage from high temperatures). Allow to dry completely before reinstalling.

Unit Exterior: Wipe surfaces with a dry cloth to remove dust and prevent component corrosion.

2. Correct Shutdown and Long-Term Storage

Pre-storage preparation: Before seasonal shutdown, operate in pure air mode for over 60 minutes to dry cooling pads and internal components, preventing mould and odours. Unscrew rear drain valve, tilt unit to empty all water from the tank.

Storage environment: Place in original packaging box in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and corrosive gases. Cover with dust cover to prevent debris ingress.

Power Management: For extended inactivity, switch off the power supply switch on the unit's side to prevent battery depletion. Recharge promptly when the display shows ‘00’.

3. Daily Operation and Safety Precautions

Water Requirements: Use only clean water below 30℃. Never add chemicals or hard water to prevent scaling and component corrosion.

Ventilation Requirements: Ensure windows are open during operation. Evaporative cooling increases humidity in enclosed spaces.

Professional Servicing: For issues such as fan malfunction or pump failure, contact official after-sales service for repairs. Do not attempt disassembly yourself. Always disconnect power before servicing.
